Why Wait Until Winter…Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte Packages

While Starbucks is always coming up with new drink ideas and combinations, there are also some old favourites that are only available for a limited time each year.

Every winter, I always wait with anticipation for the Toffee Nut Latte that Starbucks offers as part of its Winter / Christmas menus.

That’s why when I was recently shopping at my local store, I was super excited to see a box of Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte!

I quickly picked up the box and added it to my cart, and then headed for the checkout counter.

The box has the distinctive Christmas colours and decorations that Starbucks uses in the winter.

The back of the box gives the story of the Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte.

And the side of the box has the instructions for enjoying a nice cup of Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte.

The box comes with 15 sticks.

Each individual stick has the same style of decoration as the outside box, and Starbucks is definitely trying to tempt us by saying that this is a limited-edition product.

I opened a package, and slowly poured the contents into my mug.

I also added some hot water, trying to stay as close as possible to the 180ml that Starbucks recommends.

I stirred well, and then prepared to enjoy the Toffee Nut Latte.

The drink was indeed rich and buttery, just as the package promises!

There is a slight dark roast flavour to it, as well as the same toffee taste that the Toffee Nut Latte has in the Starbucks stores.

One thing the drink is missing is the really tasty crunchy pieces of toffee that come when you order one in the store. It’s also missing the whipped cream that adds a touch of decadence to an in-store purchase.

That being said, for only 95 calories a package, this is a great way to get your fix of the Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte all year round. I hope that they will continue to sell it so that I can try it even more frequently than I already have the chance to.
